This board is designed for a 3" chess set, based on the tallest piece in the set. The spacing between the shelves is 3.25". The width of the individual tiles is 1.9".
Overall dimensions with this frame are 21 3/8" x 33 3/8".
Total weight with chess pieces is about 16 pounds. A wall hanger is included which is designed to hold 50 pounds in drywall.
About the Chess Pieces
The chess piece set included with this set is the Camelot set by Italfama. To be honest, the spacing on the 3" board is a little too tall and on the 2.5" board is a little too short. It would be best on a 2.75" board. I don't keep that size in stock but If you can give me 2 to 3 weeks, I'll make one for you. If not, I'll send it on a 3" board.
